For practice
Do I have a place to leave my personal belongings?
Spaces do not have lockers or similar items. There will be designated areas to leave footwear. It is recommended to bring some type of light bag or backpack to keep personal belongings close by.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
It is not necessary. The organization will provide you with a mat and a block during the festival. However, you should bring additional materials that you consider useful for your practice, such as a strap or a blanket.
What do I need for practice?
Comfortable clothing. We recommend bringing an extra layer to keep warm once the sessions are over.
Should I bring my water bottle?
Yes. The organization ensures the supply of water free of charge throughout the festival. But you should bring your own bottle to refill.
What level of practice is needed to participate in The Yoga Gallery Festival? Can I attend if I have recently started practicing yoga?
The activities of The Yoga Gallery Festival are adapted to all levels. Of course, you can participate even if you have recently started practicing yoga; what better time to do it than with this team of teachers!
Classes
Are the classes held outdoors or indoors?
On June 3, 4, 5, and 9, the classes are outdoors (see the program). And on June 6, 7, and 8, the sessions will be mostly indoors. Anyway, we recommend that you check the program.
If I don’t want to attend all classes, are there workshops or intermediate activities?
Of course, it is not mandatory to attend all classes. You can create your schedule as you like. Combine it with workshops, talks, etc. Or walking, meditating, or simply contemplating from some corner of the monumental complex of Seu Vella.
What is TYG Loop?
TYG Loop will be a continuous session of asana practice for about 5 hours in which there will be a change of instructor every 40 minutes. You can enter and leave the practice at any time, although it is recommended (and requested) to enter or leave during the instructor change. The mats will be in place so it is not necessary to move them.
What is TYG Lab?
These are experimental sessions that combine asana sessions with some other activity that, a priori, may not seem to combine. Consult the program for more information.
In what language will the classes be?
Most sessions will be bilingual in Spanish or English. However, the organization will provide simultaneous translation if required.
Safety and Health
Healthcare service.
The organization will have a healthcare team available in case of need, whether for you or for anyone else. At the time of accreditation, a telephone number will be provided in case of a health emergency. In addition, the venue has a first aid kit and defibrillators.

Coinciding with The Yoga Gallery Menorca Festival, the island will have a significant number of direct flights from different European cities and North Africa. Check your nearest airport. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance.

How do I get to where The Yoga Gallery Menorca Festival takes place?
On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the festival takes place on Lazareto Island, a small island in front of the Es Castell dock, Menorca. You will soon receive an email informing you of the boat schedules for the outbound and return trips.

What if I am part of the “Adopt a Yogi” program and have been adopted by a Menorcan household during The Yoga Gallery Menorca, how do I get there?
In this case, we recommend trying to reach an agreement so that you can be picked up upon arrival, thus facilitating the logistics of transporting you to the home that will host you during the festival days.
Can I come and go to the venue where the festival sessions take place at any time?
Yes, there is freedom of movement.
Is transportation to Lazareto Island included in the ticket?
Yes. Transportation to Lazareto Island is included in the tickets.
What if I miss the last return boat from Lazareto Island to Mahón?
In this case, contact the organization and we will arrange rescue 🙂
